Accountability of Governance
Governance involves ensuring an organization’s goals are met by assessing stakeholder requirements, circumstances and choices; providing direction through prioritizing and decision-making; and tracking progress, conformity and achievement versus plans. Governance is typically carried out by an enterprise’s board of directors, led by the chairperson, who are responsible for and answerable to the efficacy of governance activities.
